Darlene Sales-Mercado, Cesar’s daughter, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of his funeral and other related expenses. In a heartfelt message, she expressed gratitude for any contributions, stating that every bit of support will go towards celebrating her father’s life and ensuring that loved ones can gather to say their final goodbyes.

The fundraiser, titled "Help Us Honor Cesar Sales’ Memory," has raised $300 of its $8,000 goal so far, with donations from three supporters. Jay Sales contributed $150, Katerina Scarles-Gonzalez donated $100, and Sharon Brennan added $50.

Darlene also shared her thoughts on Facebook, urging friends and family to contribute or share the fundraiser link. She emphasized the importance of coming together to honor Cesar’s memory, thanking everyone for their prayers and support.
