Kenneth Medlin, Hughesville, MD—Community Remembers a Beloved Husband and Father

Kenneth Medlin, Hughesville, MD—Kenneth Medlin passed away on August 15, 2024, at 5:30 PM, leaving behind his grieving family and a community deeply saddened by his loss. Known affectionately as "Kenny," he was the cherished husband of Stacey Medlin and the devoted father of Brianna Kane. Stacey described Kenny as her "ride or die partner," emphasizing the deep bond they shared.

Despite his illness, Kenny worked tirelessly to provide for his family, ensuring that the bills were paid even when financial circumstances were tough. Unfortunately, Kenny did not have life insurance, leaving his family in need of financial assistance to cover the costs of his Celebration of Life service and unforeseen medical bills.

In response to this, a fundraiser has been set up by James Medlin to support Stacey and Brianna during this difficult time. The goal is to raise $15,000, and so far, $625 has been generously donated by kind individuals, including Paula Breads, Patricia Halbleib, Julie Miller, Melissa Glascoe, and Sarah Callahan.

The community has come together on Facebook to express their condolences and share their memories of Kenny. Ti’nya Clayton Sesay remembered him as "one of the BEST," while Michelle Scott expressed her sorrow, saying, "I’m sorry for your loss." Carol Williams, in a heartfelt post, shared her grief, "Oh my God…not my son Kenny…oh how we used to have so much fun. I loved him a lot…REST IN HEAVEN…BLUE EYES!!!!" Annie Robinson simply stated, "Rest in peace," reflecting the shared sentiment of loss.

Kenneth Medlin’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His family and friends will forever cherish the moments they shared with him, drawing comfort from the love and support of their community.

We are deeply saddened to learn of Kenneth Medlin’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
