Adrian Dacus, 21, Tragically Passes Away in Woodburn, Oregon – Family Seeks Support for Cremation

Woodburn, Oregon – The community is mourning the tragic loss of Adrian Dacus, a 21-year-old who was found dead of a drug overdose at his uncle’s home in Woodburn on August 25th. This heartbreaking event occurred just a day after his uncle also passed away in a suspected drug-related incident.

Adrian’s father, Genaro Dacus, has expressed the overwhelming grief that he and his ex-wife are experiencing. The couple is now facing the difficult task of arranging for their son’s cremation, despite their limited financial means. To honor Adrian’s memory and provide him with a dignified farewell, they have organized a fundraiser, hoping to raise the necessary funds for his cremation.

The fundraiser, titled “Help Us Cremate our Son Adrian Dacus with Dignity,” aims to raise $5,000. As of today, the campaign is still seeking its first donor. The family is appealing to the community for any assistance, whether through donations or by simply sharing the fundraiser with others.

On social media, friends and family have begun sharing their sorrow and support. Stephanie Allen from Onalaska, Washington, posted on Facebook, “My nephew was taken from us way too soon. Adrian was just beginning his life, only 21 years old. This tragedy has really hit hard. Anything helps even if you can share on your own page would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all for your love and support!”

Daniel Solitare, who organized a separate GoFundMe for memorial expenses, shared a similar sentiment, stating, “The world has lost a beautiful soul this weekend. Our family is deeply saddened by this loss.”

The outpouring of support highlights the deep impact Adrian had on those around him, even at such a young age. The family is hopeful that they will be able to bring Adrian home and give him the respectful goodbye he deserves.

Anyone wishing to contribute can donate directly to the fundraiser or help by spreading the word. The Dacus family is grateful for any form of support during this unimaginably difficult time.
