Albuquerque Resident Tannia Wilson Tragically Passes Away, Community Rallies to Support Her Family

Albuquerque, New Mexico – Tannia Wilson, a beloved member of the Albuquerque community, tragically passed away on Monday, August 26th, 2024. The news of her passing has left her family, friends, and community members deeply saddened. Tannia was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, who touched the lives of those around her with kindness and love.

A GoFundMe campaign has been organized by Shania Jim on behalf of Sonia Wilson to help cover the unexpected funeral and burial costs. The fundraiser aims to raise $14,020 by Saturday, August 31st, to ensure Tannia receives the memorial she deserves. So far, $300 has been raised through three donations, with contributions from Mariah Brown, Beth Iversen, and Desiree Flores, each donating $100.

Beth JilliAnne Iversen expressed her grief on Facebook, saying, "The other night I got terrible news about a friend’s passing. My heart is broken, she has 2 little girls, if you can donate please do – if not please share. You will be terribly missed Skellington Anna Tannia Wilson and I love you."

The Wilson family is profoundly grateful for the community’s support during this challenging time. They encourage anyone who can donate or share the fundraiser link to do so, helping them honor Tannia’s memory.

The family hopes to raise enough funds to cover the funeral services, which will cost $5,888, and the burial services, estimated at $8,200. Tannia’s loved ones are determined to give her the respectful farewell she deserves.
