Bulpitt, Illinois – Iris Anderson, a cherished member of the Bulpitt community and a devoted nurse, has passed away. Iris, who was fondly known as Grandma Iris, left this world on August 26, 2024. Her passing marks the end of a life filled with compassion, dedication, and care for others.
Iris Anderson spent her life serving others as a nurse, touching countless lives with her kindness and professionalism. Her commitment to her work and the people she cared for made her a beloved figure in the community.
To honor her memory, a wake will be held at Masterson’s Funeral Home in Kincaid on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to attend and pay their respects. A funeral and mass will follow on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rita’s in Kincaid. Iris will be laid to rest at Glen Haven in Taylorville.
Iris Anderson’s legacy is one of love, care, and selfless service. As a graduate of Lincoln Land Community College, her career in nursing was more than a profession—it was her life’s calling.
