Benoni, Northmead – The community is grieving the loss of Corrie Mew, a cherished resident whose passing was announced earlier this week. Corrie, known for his warmth and kindness, touched the lives of many in his community and beyond. His death has left a significant void, but those who knew him are determined to carry forward the light he brought into their lives.
A memorial service for Corrie Mew is scheduled for August 31, 2024, at 11:00 AM at 49 11th Ave, Northmead, Benoni, 1501. For those who cannot attend in person, there will be a streaming service available at the C Mew Restaurant in Inhambane. The community is invited to join in remembering and celebrating Corrie’s life, which was marked by his love for others and his positive impact on those around him.
In response to the sad news, many have shared their condolences and memories on social media. Hannetjie Van Staden expressed, "RIV Corrie.
