Brooklyn Resident Manuel Guerrero Dies at 28, Fundraising Efforts Underway for His Funeral

Brooklyn, New York – Manuel Guerrero, a beloved member of the Brooklyn community, has tragically passed away at the age of 28. Guerrero died on Thursday, August 22, 2024, leaving his family and friends mourning his untimely loss.

Jefferson Chua, Guerrero’s partner, is organizing a GoFundMe campaign titled "Honoring Manuel Guerrero: Cherished Memories." The fundraiser aims to raise $12,000 to cover funeral expenses and to celebrate the cherished memories that friends and family shared with Guerrero. So far, the campaign has raised $20 from one donor.

Chua shared his heartfelt feelings on Facebook, saying, "Hi, my name is Jefferson Chua, my love, my should be my forever Manuel Guerrero died Thursday, Aug 22, 2024. I need help in keeping his legacy alive and for us, his family can come together in celebrating those beautiful memories we have with him."

Others have also expressed their condolences and support on social media. Jeffy Chua reached out on Facebook, urging, "To Manuel Guerrero’s family and my family with the respect of Manuel’s family. I would like to ask for your generous assistance for his funeral service."

The Brooklyn community is coming together in this time of sorrow to support the Guerrero family and honor Manuel’s life.
