Calgary Man Christopher Stevenson’s Death Confirmed; Shaun Alexander Folk Charged with Second-Degree Murder

Calgary, Alberta – After an extensive year-long investigation, Calgary Police have charged Shaun Alexander Folk, 47, with second-degree murder in connection with the disappearance and death of Christopher Stevenson. Stevenson, who was last seen in August 2023, was initially reported missing, prompting a thorough investigation by authorities.

The investigation led police to search a residence in downtown Calgary and a rural property on Range Road 293 in Rocky View County, Alberta. Evidence collected during these searches led investigators to conclude that Stevenson was murdered shortly after his disappearance last August.
