Chemistry Teacher Arden Mullings Passes Away Suddenly, Leaving Family and Friends in Shock

Pinellas Park, FL – The community is mourning the sudden and unexpected loss of Arden Mullings, a beloved chemistry teacher at Gibbs High School. Arden passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024, leaving behind his wife, Sheree Mullings, and their three young children: Ardaynea, aged 7, Aiden, aged 2, and Ellaynea, just 18 months old.

Arden, originally from Jamaica, had been living in the United States since 2013. He and Sheree had been married for 10 years, and Sheree works as a nurse with the BayCare group. The tragic loss has left the family and the community devastated.

A fundraiser organized by family friend Polyanna Gonzalez is seeking to support Sheree and her children during this incredibly difficult time. The fundraiser has a goal of $100,000, with $405 raised so far through eight donations. The contributions, including $50 donations from Karla Smith, Rita Houston, Alyne Apolinario De Campos, and Jessica Lindsey, will help Sheree plan for the future and lessen the financial burden she now faces.

On social media, friends and loved ones expressed their grief and offered condolences. Mitsie Mullings shared, “Arden Mullings gone too soon bro!!!” while Melonie Lewis posted, “My condolences to you and your family.”

The outpouring of support and love from the community highlights the impact Arden had on those around him. His passing leaves a significant void, and the community is rallying together to support his family as they navigate this heartbreaking time.
