Christopher Cochran, Adairsville, GA – Beloved 60-Year-Old Teacher and Coach Passes Away, Leaving a Legacy of Service and Dedication

Christopher Cochran, a 60-year-old resident of Adairsville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, August 18, 2024. Born on June 9, 1964, in Dalton, Georgia, Christopher was the cherished son of the late Reverend Billy Joe and Prima Lee Cochran. His death marks the end of a remarkable 30-year career dedicated to teaching and coaching, where he profoundly impacted the lives of countless students.

Christopher’s passion for education extended beyond the classroom and sports field, where he not only taught but also mentored and inspired his students. His dedication was not just a job but a calling that he embraced with his whole heart. Additionally, he was an active member of the Hellions Motorcycle Club in Resaca, Georgia, where he found joy and fellowship.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Arlene Cochran, with whom he shared a deep and enduring bond. Christopher’s legacy lives on through his daughters, Lexie Elizabeth Cochran of Dalton, GA, Magan Leigh Green and her husband Josh, and Morgan Hudson and her husband Kyle, both of Chatsworth, GA. He was also a proud grandfather to Molleigh Mae Callahan, Marliegh, and Maddison Foster, who brought great joy to his life.

To honor Christopher’s life and legacy, the family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Ponders Calhoun Chapel in Calhoun, Georgia. This visitation will offer loved ones an opportunity to pay their respects and celebrate the life of a man who dedicated himself to the betterment of others.

Christopher Cochran’s legacy of service, dedication, and love will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him, a testament to the enduring influence of a life well-lived.
