David Stephen Turton, a beloved member of the community, passed away on August 20, 2024, after facing personal struggles. David was known for his warm personality and was highly regarded by his friends and acquaintances, despite the difficulties he faced.
In response to his sudden passing, a GoFundMe campaign has been organized by Mark Wells to support David’s funeral and wake costs. The fundraiser aims to raise £3,000, and so far, £1,140 has been contributed by 23 donors. The community is being urged to donate and help give David the farewell he deserves.
Mark Wells, organizing the fundraiser, shared, "Hi, I am hoping to raise funds on behalf of David’s brothers, son & family to help towards his Funeral & Wake costs. David was well thought of no matter what his struggles were, he was a popular & well respected within all circles of the many friends he had."
On Facebook, many have shared their condolences and urged others to contribute. Mark Nffc Wells posted, "Please Share," encouraging others to spread the word about the fundraiser.
