Community Prays for Safe Return of 13-Year-Old Tshiamo Hlahane Missing from Polokong

Polokong, South Africa – The Polokong community is in distress as they search for 13-year-old Tshiamo Hlahane, who went missing on the evening of August 20, 2024. Tshiamo, a Grade 8 student at Crystal Springs Private School, was last seen around 7 p.m. wearing a black T-shirt, black track pants, and black and white sneakers. His sudden disappearance has left his family and the community in a state of deep concern.

Tshiamo’s family is pleading for the community’s help in locating their son. They have shared their worries on social media, with one family member posting, “Kopa le nthuse ho thola ngwanaka hle ke Tshiamo Hlahane, he was last seen last night around 7 p.m. wearing a black T-shirt and black track pants.” The post also highlighted the urgency of the situation as Tshiamo did not have a jersey and is afraid of the cold. The family resides at 1057 Polokong, and anyone with information is urged to contact them immediately.

Thetha FM 100.6 has also broadcasted an appeal to the public, requesting assistance in finding Tshiamo. They urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the provided numbers or reach out to the nearest police station.

The news has prompted an outpouring of prayers and well-wishes on social media. Lerato Pamela Maitse shared, “May the Lord protect him hlena. As a mother, I feel your pain.” Similarly, Palesa Wa Bonolo Motaung posted, “Praying for his safe return,” echoing the sentiments of many in the community.

Other community members, like Lavadoll Khauoe, expressed their hope for Tshiamo’s protection, writing, “Hai maan God, please protect him.” Thabo Mokoena added, “Halena family e haufinyana or friend eo atlwaetseng ho robala habo yona?” indicating concern for Tshiamo’s whereabouts.

The community remains united in their hope for Tshiamo’s safe return, with many turning to prayer in these difficult hours. Sandra Sabby’s message, “Oo Modimo, praying for his safe return,” captures the collective sentiment.

As the search continues, the family and community are appealing for anyone with information to come forward and help bring Tshiamo home safely.
