Atlanta, Georgia – The community is coming together to support Joshua Frazier, who is grieving the loss of his father, Anthony Frazier. Anthony passed away recently, leaving Joshua to handle the funeral arrangements and related expenses during this difficult time.
Joshua, Anthony’s youngest son, has set up a GoFundMe campaign to help cover the costs of the funeral. The fundraiser, titled "Help Celebrate Anthony Frazier’s Life," was created on August 27, 2024, and has so far raised $2,430 out of its $10,000 goal from 19 donations.
In his heartfelt message on the GoFundMe page, Joshua shared, "I recently found out that my father is no longer with us. This has not been easy by far. For those who don’t know me, I lost my mother in 2012, my older brother passed in 2022, and now my father is no longer with me in the flesh but he is in the spirit." He added that the support received will help honor his father’s memory and manage the unexpected costs.
Many people have expressed their support for Joshua during this challenging time. Tiffany Shanaye posted on Facebook, urging others to contribute to the GoFundMe campaign, saying, "Hey there! I wanted to share a GoFundMe for Anthony Frazier’s funeral expenses; his son Joshua is facing a really tough time after losing his dad."
Donations have come in from various individuals, including Aiten McPherson, who contributed $100, and Jay Latzak, who made the top donation of $250. Chandlar Walton was the first to donate, with a contribution of $5.
Joshua has expressed his gratitude for the prayers, support, and donations received, stating that these acts of kindness are helping him stay strong for himself and the family and friends surrounding him. The community continues to rally around Joshua, ensuring that Anthony Frazier’s life is celebrated with the dignity and respect he deserves.
