Community Rallies to Support TaQuana Cooper and Her Family Amid Sudden Health Crisis in Bentonville

Bentonville, AR – The community is coming together to support TaQuana Cooper, a beloved figure known for her dedication to youth and children’s ministry at Radiant Life Church. TaQuana, 43, is currently in hospice care after a rapid and unexpected decline in health, leaving her family in urgent need of support.

Seven weeks ago, TaQuana was diagnosed with cancer, initially believed to be treatable through surgery. However, during the procedure, doctors discovered that the cancer had spread, leading to the decision to begin chemotherapy. Unfortunately, on Friday, TaQuana was hospitalized due to sepsis, and further scans revealed that the cancer had spread even more extensively. By Monday, August 19, 2024, she was moved to hospice care.

This sudden turn of events has left her family unprepared, both emotionally and financially. With no life insurance or savings set aside for such an emergency, her loved ones are now reaching out to the community for prayers and financial assistance. TaQuana is the mother of two boys, Kevin and Jacob, who have special needs, adding to the urgency of the situation.

Brittney Carter, a friend of TaQuana, has organized a GoFundMe campaign titled “Prayers and Support for TaQuana’s Final Journey,” with a goal of raising $20,000. As of now, $100 has been donated by Lauren Hart, an early supporter of the cause. The funds will help cover medical and burial expenses, with any remaining money going towards the care of TaQuana’s sons.

On Facebook, many friends and community members have expressed their deep concern and shared prayers for TaQuana and her family. Tabitha Sons wrote, "Friends, if you know TaQuana Cooper, you know she is the life of the party. She needs your prayers right now. Her boys need your prayers." Similarly, Lizzie Miller commented, "Praying for her, her boys, and for you! I know how much she means to you!"

Others, like Glynda Caldwell, reflected on TaQuana’s impact on their lives, saying, "Taquana is by far one of the most beautiful and faith-filled people I know. I will be on my knees for her and her family." Meanwhile, Tori Mercado expressed her shock, writing, "Omg not TaQuana Cooper!!! My heart hurts!! She will forever be in my prayers."

The outpouring of support highlights the significant role TaQuana has played in the lives of many within her community. As her friends and family continue to navigate this difficult time, they are leaning on the community for both spiritual and financial support to ensure that TaQuana’s final wishes are honored and that her sons are cared for.

Anyone wishing to contribute can do so through the GoFundMe page or directly through the Radiant Life Church website. The community remains hopeful and united in prayer as they support TaQuana and her family during this challenging time.
