Community Urged to Help Locate Missing Joseph Keith Oldbear Senior, Last Seen in Clinton, Oklahoma

Joseph Keith Oldbear Senior, a 68-year-old enrolled member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes, was last seen on April 1, 2024, after leaving Clinton Regional Hospital on foot. Oldbear, who is medically urgent, was reported missing to law enforcement on April 16, 2024, and his case has now appeared in the missing persons database.

Joseph Oldbear is described as 5’9”, weighing 165 pounds, with long, partially grey hair and brown eyes. He was last seen heading northbound from the hospital, and it is believed he is in need of medical care. Notably, Oldbear had his left leg amputated below the knee, which may affect his mobility.

The Bureau of Indian Affairs took the initial report, and since then, there has been a Red Alert issued in hopes of finding him. His disappearance has prompted calls from the community to assist in locating him, especially considering his medical condition.

On Facebook, the group See Me OKC emphasized the urgency of the situation: “Please See and help locate Joseph Keith Oldbear Senior.” The post also reminded the community of the critical need for vigilance and cooperation in the search for Oldbear.
