Community Urges Help in Locating Missing Oklahoma City Resident Savonta Kirkland, Disappeared at Age 17

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma – The community continues to seek answers and assistance in locating Savonta Kirkland, who disappeared on February 6, 2021, when he was just 17 years old. Savonta, now 20, was last seen in the area of NW 10th and Indiana while being transported by an Oklahoma Department of Human Services worker. After the worker briefly stopped at a store, Savonta vanished, and no one has heard from him since.

Savonta is described as 5’5" tall, weighing 130 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Despite his disappearance as a minor, authorities emphasize that Savonta is now an adult and not in any trouble. If he contacts law enforcement and verifies his identity, he will be removed from the missing persons database.

Members of the community have taken to social media to express their concerns and urge anyone with information to come forward. Debbie Mendoza commented on Facebook, "Prayers," reflecting the ongoing hope for Savonta’s safe return.

Authorities encourage anyone who may have information about Savonta’s whereabouts to contact the Oklahoma City Police Department at 405-297-1129, referencing case number 21-9475. The community remains hopeful that Savonta is safe and will soon reconnect with his loved ones.
