Delavan, WI – Petra Bonilla, a beloved resident of Delavan, has sadly passed away after a valiant battle with cancer. Petra, who was deeply cherished by her family and community, is remembered as a loving figure who took care of everyone since they were young.
To help cover the costs associated with Petra’s funeral, her daughter, Marisol Bonilla, has organized a GoFundMe fundraiser. As of August 26th, 2024, the campaign has raised $280 of its $2,000 goal, with donations coming from supporters including Jennifer Flores, Ana Cortes, Jesse Soto, and Mariza Escobar-Arias.
Marisol expressed her gratitude for the support and shared her deep love for her mother, stating, "My mother’s funeral costs, flowers, anything is appreciated, lots of love ❤️ she took care of everyone since little she was much loved by the whole family ❤️ she will be missed and will not be forgotten rest in peace Petra Bonilla (loved grandmother of all)."
