Edwina Michelle Bull Found Alive After 33 Years Missing from Oklahoma City

Edwina Michelle Bull, who went missing from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 1991, has been found alive. This news comes after more than three decades of uncertainty and heartache for her family and the local community.

Edwina, who was 21 at the time, disappeared after being dropped off by her mother at a bar in south Oklahoma City on August 27, 1991. The next day, she returned home briefly to pick up some clothing, driven by an unidentified man. After that, Edwina vanished without a trace, and no further information surfaced about her whereabouts—until now.

Recent reports reveal that Edwina has been removed from the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NAMUS). Conversations with her sister confirmed that Edwina is indeed alive, and the police have been in contact with her. She has chosen, however, not to reconnect with her family at this time. Authorities and family members have requested privacy and compassion, urging the public not to speculate on her reasons for staying away.

The discovery of Edwina’s status has sparked various reactions on social media. Members of the Oklahoma Cold Cases community expressed relief and support.

Bernadette Shaw-Keaton commented, "One less. Glad she was found alive."

Becky Weaver Glenn shared, "Regardless of circumstances she is ALIVE, what great news for her family. So glad they know she is ok."

Donna Davis added, "Crazy turn of events! Best case scenario though!"

Myles Sher expressed sympathy, saying, "Glad she is okay. Hope her family have some semblance of relief & peace."

Lisa Kaye Dorman noted, "It’s just nice to know that family knows that she’s okay it’s her choice whether she has contact or not."

While some wonder about the circumstances that led Edwina to stay away for so long, many emphasize the importance of respecting her privacy and the choices she has made. As the news continues to circulate, the community is reminded of the complex and personal nature of missing person cases, and the hope that all missing individuals can be found safe.
