Emma Kathryn Gage, Cherished Daughter and Talented Artist, Remembered in Powell, Ohio

Powell, Ohio – The community is gathering to honor the life of Emma Kathryn Gage, a beloved daughter, sister, and talented artist who passed away recently. Emma, born on June 29, 2005, in Columbus, Ohio, was the cherished daughter of William and Valerie Gage. Her untimely departure has left a profound void, but those who knew her are comforted by the many cherished memories they shared with her.

Emma was known for her boundless creativity, love of music, and passion for the environment. She was an extremely talented artist who loved to sing and enjoyed gaming with friends from around the world. Her positivity and kindness were unmatched, and she touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

Visitation for Emma will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, located at 10051 Brewster Ln, Powell, Ohio. Family, friends, and the community are invited to pay their respects on August 28, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and again on August 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A heartfelt funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM, where attendees will gather to honor Emma’s life, share stories, and celebrate the love she brought into the world.

Emma’s father, William Gage, shared a touching tribute on Facebook, expressing his deep love and pride for his daughter. He wrote, "As a father, my love for my little girl (my boo) was boundless. Watching her grow into a beautiful, intelligent, and compassionate young woman was such a source of great pride and joy."

The outpouring of support on social media has been overwhelming, with many expressing their condolences and sharing memories of Emma. Julie Carey wrote, "I am so sorry for your loss, thinking of you and your family." Jessica Fisher added, "Prayers and hugs from your WV family! I am so so sorry."

Other heartfelt messages included Brooke Thomas saying, "I’m so sorry Willie.. thinking of you all today," and Heather Landis expressing, "I am so terribly sorry for your loss and am praying for you all." The sentiments continued with Jenni Sheik’s message, "Sending you lots of strength during difficult time. I can’t imagine how hard it must be."
