Erin Coppage, Beloved Surf Super Fan, Passes Away After Battling Pancreatic Cancer

Hilton Head Island, South Carolina – The community of Hilton Head Island is mourning the loss of Erin Coppage, a cherished member of the Surf Super Fans group, who passed away this morning, August 23, 2024, after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Erin was known for her warmth, enthusiasm, and deep love for music, leaving behind a legacy that touched the hearts of many.

Jeff T-Bone Taylor of 104.9 The Surf shared the sad news on Facebook, expressing his sorrow and remembering Erin fondly. “Good Evening, I am sorry to post this with deepest sympathy the news of the passing of one of our Surf Super Fans this Summer. Erin Coppage passed away this morning due to pancreatic cancer. Please keep her family in your prayers. She was on with me in mid-July. She was so excited to come in as a guest DJ. Very nice sweet lady. Fly High Erin, it was an honor to share the Mic with you,” Taylor wrote.

The post has since garnered heartfelt reactions and comments from the community, reflecting the deep impact Erin had on those around her.
