Family and Community in Concord, NC, Urgently Seek Help in Finding Missing 24-Year-Old Jeremiah David Schweighardt

Concord, NC – The family of 24-year-old Jeremiah David Schweighardt is desperately seeking the public’s help in locating him after he was last seen on August 17, 2024, at the Walmart in Concord, North Carolina. Jeremiah, known for being diligent about staying in touch with his family and friends, has not been heard from since that day, causing growing concern among those close to him.

Jeremiah is described as being 5’8” tall. At the time of his disappearance, he was without a phone and might not have had any form of identification with him, further complicating efforts to locate him.

His mother, Sonya Samuell Schweighardt, took to Facebook to share the alarming news, pleading for widespread sharing of his information and urging anyone with details to come forward. She expressed the family’s deep worry, stating that Jeremiah is typically very responsible about communication, making his sudden silence particularly troubling.

The community has shown overwhelming support through numerous prayers and well wishes. Bobdottie Pletcher commented, "We are praying," while Carolyn Gordon echoed the sentiment, simply stating, "Praying for Jeremiah."

Many others have also expressed their concern and support, including Shane Johnston, who wrote, "Oh no! Lifting you all up!" and Melissa Gainey Heiland, who posted, "Praying."

The family is asking anyone with information about Jeremiah’s whereabouts to contact them immediately. The outpouring of prayers and support continues, with everyone hoping for Jeremiah’s safe return.
