Family of Chunda Robinson Appeals for Help as Lusaka Student Remains Missing Since April

Lusaka, Zambia – The family of Chunda Robinson, a 22-year-old student from the Nsama District of Muchinga Province, is appealing to the public for help in locating him after he went missing in April 2024. Robinson, who was studying at ICU College in Chalala, Lusaka Province, has not been heard from for several months.

Concern grew when Robinson’s family, after a communication breakdown, traveled to Lusaka to check on him at his college. Upon arrival, they were shocked to learn that he had been absent from the school for some time.

Robinson’s disappearance has sparked concern and speculation among the community, with many taking to social media to express their worries and call for action.

Destiny M Sia commented, "Isn’t he the second missing person from ICU, so sad hope he’s alright."

Bupe Anelisa Mulenga voiced fears about a larger issue, saying, "I’m starting to believe there is a syndicate kidnapping people. We need to wake up!"

Ganizo Tembo criticized the situation, stating, "USELESS SCHOOL MANAGEMENT…HOPE HE WILL BE FOUND IN GOOD SHAPE."

The family’s appeal has drawn widespread attention, highlighting concerns over safety and the responsibility of institutions to track student attendance. The public’s outpouring of support and concern underscores the urgency to find Robinson and ensure the safety of students in similar circumstances.
