Chicago, IL – The family of Arnaldo Dejesus is seeking help from the community to cover funeral expenses after his sudden passing. Arnaldo, affectionately known as "Tio Naldo," passed away unexpectedly yesterday afternoon, leaving his family scrambling to arrange a memorial service.
Destiny Correa, Arnaldo’s niece, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for his funeral. The family has only two days to make arrangements, as per the hospital’s requirements, and is aiming to raise $5,000 to give Arnaldo a proper farewell. So far, the campaign has raised $1,270 from 11 donations.
Destiny shared on the fundraiser page, "We want to give my Tio Naldo the memorial he deserves so we can all say goodbye to him for the last time. I’m asking for donations to help cover at least some of the costs of his funeral."
Several people have expressed their condolences and shared the fundraiser on social media. Yasser Saleh commented, "What happened," showing the community’s concern over Arnaldo’s sudden passing.
The family appreciates any support and is grateful for all the contributions received so far, including a generous $500 donation from Angel Rivera and a $200 donation from Destiny herself.
