Salisbury, Missouri – Frank Gerard Sears, a longtime resident of Salisbury, MO, passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at the age of 64. Frank, born on December 29, 1959, in Joliet, Illinois, was the son of Elmo and Lorraine (McConley) Sears.
Frank graduated from Romeoville High School and spent many years contributing to his community through his work and personal life. He married Melissa Reeves on September 8, 2007, and the couple shared a loving life together.
Sadly, Frank’s life was cut short following a brief but courageous battle with stage 4 rectal cancer. His passing has left a significant void in the lives of his family, which includes his wife, six children, and several grandchildren. Unfortunately, Frank did not have life insurance, leaving his family with the burden of funeral expenses.
A fundraiser has been organized by Amanda Sears, Frank’s daughter-in-law, to help cover these costs. As of the latest update, $255 has been raised towards the $5,000 goal. Donations continue to be sought to support the Sears family during this difficult time.
Many have expressed their condolences and support for the Sears family. Joanne Gheens offered her sympathy, saying, "Sorry, Nick and family." Rhonda Bennett remembered Frank fondly, stating, "Frank was quite a guy; he will be truly missed. RIP, buddy." Others, like Michelle Beavers and Donna Baker Healey, offered prayers and heartfelt condolences to the grieving family.
Frank Sears will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the impact he had on those who knew him. His funeral service details and memorial information are available through Summerville Funeral Home, Inc.
