Henry Lee Francis, Ft. Pierce, FL – The Ft. Pierce community is coming together to support Martina Francis, who is facing the heartbreaking task of arranging a proper burial for her father, Henry Lee Francis, who passed away on August 19th, 2024.
Henry Lee Francis tragically died after complications from a focal seizure he suffered on June 1st. Martina, his only immediate family member by his side at the time of his passing, is now left to handle the funeral arrangements without the support of life insurance due to her father’s underlying health issues.
Martina Francis has organized a GoFundMe campaign to raise $15,000 to cover the funeral costs. As of today, the fundraiser has raised $225 through four donations. Despite still grieving the loss of her beloved father, Martina expressed her deep gratitude to those who have already contributed, stating, "Even if it’s a penny, we will appreciate it wholeheartedly. God bless you all and thank you!"
Supporters have begun to rally around Martina and share their thoughts on social media. Dorothy Cividanes, one of the donors, commented on Facebook, while others like Sergy Molines and Mercedes Figueroa have also contributed to the cause.
