Keith Faulkner, affectionately known as "Big Keith," unexpectedly passed away recently, leaving his family and friends in mourning. Known for his kind nature and dedication to the Oxfam community, Keith’s sudden death has prompted a fundraising effort to ensure he receives a proper farewell.
Mark Grayson, a fellow Oxfam coordinator, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to cover Keith’s funeral expenses, which are estimated to exceed £5,000. As of today, the fundraiser has raised £90 from seven donations. The goal is to provide Keith with a dignified send-off, and any surplus funds will be donated to Oxfam, reflecting Keith’s commitment to the organization.
"Hi there! As many of you know, our dear Big Keith recently passed away, and we’re raising funds to give him a proper send-off," wrote Mark Grayson on Facebook. He continued, "Any contribution would be most welcome, and if there is any excess at the end, it will be donated to Oxfam."
The Oxfam community, known for its solidarity and support, has already begun contributing to the fundraiser. Comments from friends and colleagues reflect the deep respect and affection they had for Keith.
Margaret Henry, one of the donors, contributed £10, while another anonymous donor gave £20. Andy Curtis and Rebecca Barrett also showed their support with donations of £5 and £10, respectively.
