Halifax, Nova Scotia – Halifax Regional Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 54-year-old Kim Adele Brahmacharie Biermann, who has been missing since June. Originally from western Canada, Kim was last seen in the Halifax area, where she is believed to still be.
Kim is described as a white female, approximately 5’7" tall, with a thin build, medium-length blonde or brown hair, and blue eyes. She is known to frequent the Halifax Central Library on Spring Garden Road. Despite there being no indications of foul play, police and her family are deeply concerned for her well-being.
Authorities urge anyone with information regarding Kim’s whereabouts to contact Halifax Regional Police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
The search for Kim has prompted various reactions from the community on social media. Tina Tanner expressed concern, stating, "My God, so many missing people … praying she’s soon found and safe." Terry-lee Smith echoed this sentiment, adding, "Praying she is found safe." Michelle Anthony, however, criticized the efforts, saying, "Police need to step up their game."
Some community members are questioning the delay in publicizing her disappearance. Lynette E Young asked, "Why almost 2 months later are you putting this up? Seen last in June?" Others have shared the information across various platforms, hoping to aid in the search. Kathy Withak pointed out, "Only two month delay this time," while Jillian Teague mentioned, "She looks like the lady that was panhandling in Chain Lake today by the Petro Can."
The concern over Kim’s safety continues to grow as the community rallies to bring her home.
