James Cassady Dies in Tragic Single-Vehicle Crash in Harford County, Maryland

Harford County, Maryland – James Cassady, a 42-year-old resident of Aberdeen, died early Saturday morning in a single-vehicle crash, according to the Maryland State Police.

The accident occurred around 5:30 a.m. near the intersection of Maryland Route 7 and Brass Mill Road. Emergency responders found a red Hyundai that had collided with a tree. Cassady, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was transported to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, where he was pronounced dead.

Preliminary investigations indicate that Cassady was traveling westbound on MD Route 7 when, for reasons yet to be determined, his vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash and urge anyone with information to come forward.
