James Fraser Found Safe After Being Reported Missing from Ayr on Saturday

Ayr, Scotland – James Fraser, a 21-year-old man who was reported missing from the Nelson Place area of Ayr, has been found safe. James was last seen around 4 p.m. on Saturday, 24 August 2024.

James, who stands approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall and is of slim build with brown hair, was identified by his distinct tattoos, including a crown on his neck, a rose on his right hand, and another tattoo on his right forearm.

Inspector Colin Thapar expressed concern for James’s welfare and urged anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the authorities. "We are growing concerned for James’s welfare and I am appealing to anyone who has seen James or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact us," he said earlier today. Authorities also appealed directly to James to reach out to confirm his safety.

Shortly after the appeal, several individuals on Facebook confirmed that James had been found. Margaret Anderson posted, "He’s been found," while Patti Lewis Gillon echoed, "Glad he has been found." Other users, including Reene Brown and Jeanette Fisher, shared the initial missing person appeal, hoping for James’s safe return.

This case highlights the power of community efforts and social media in aiding the quick resolution of missing person cases. Authorities have thanked the public for their support and prompt response in spreading the word.
