North Smithfield, Rhode Island – A tragic car crash early Sunday morning resulted in the death of Jamey Scheer, a 32-year-old resident of Burrillville.
The fatal incident occurred around 1:07 a.m. at 535 Douglas Pike. Police arrived to find Scheer unresponsive inside his vehicle. Despite efforts to save him, Scheer was pronounced dead after being transported to Landmark Medical Center.
The cause of the crash is currently under investigation. Authorities have not yet determined what led to the accident.
Family and friends have expressed their grief over Scheer’s untimely death on social media.
Michael Narcovich posted, "This has to be the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life man. Jamey Scheer … I love you nephew.. I love you dawg!!"
Brittney Daze Galeone offered her condolences, saying, "I’m really sorry to hear about this, Mike. My deepest condolences to your sister, you, and your family."
Jerry Porter, Denise Boucher, and many others also shared their sympathies, with Tami Plante stating, "My deepest condolences."
