Known for his remarkable athleticism as a former arm wrestling champion and his unique talent as a psychedelic artist, Jeff Margolis was a man of many talents and an inspiration to those who knew him.
Sampson, as he was affectionately called, was not only an outstanding athlete but also a kind and generous soul. His creativity and distinctive vision left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered, whether through his art or his warm personality. His friends and community members are deeply saddened by his loss, but they take comfort in remembering the extraordinary life he lived.

Thomas Finnerty, a friend of Margolis, shared, "An old friend, Jeff ‘Sampson’ Margolis passed away yesterday. I suppose it is appropriate that there was also a Blue Supermoon the same day. Sampson was one of a kind, a great athlete and former arm wrestling champion, and a one-of-a-kind psychedelic artist. Possibly one of the kindest persons I knew and definitely one of the most interesting. May he rest in peace."
