Los Angeles, California – Joel Reyes Pizarro, a 37-year-old man, has been identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office as the victim of a fatal shooting that took place in Boyle Heights.
The tragic incident occurred early Friday morning, with firefighters discovering Pizarro’s body around 6:15 a.m. at the intersection of Marengo Street and Evergreen Avenue. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported that the shooting likely happened between 4 and 6 a.m.
