Collier County, Florida – Johntae Dortch, a 46-year-old resident, who was reported missing earlier today, has been located and is safe.
Dortch was last seen near Golden Gate Parkway and Goodlette Frank Road at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Monday morning. He was described as being 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing around 165 pounds, and was wearing black gym shorts, black shoes, an unknown shirt, and two gold chains at the time of his disappearance.
The Collier County Sheriff’s Office initially issued a missing person alert and sought the public’s assistance in locating Johntae. However, the Sheriff’s Office later confirmed through a Facebook update that Johntae Dortch had been found and is safe.
The community expressed relief upon hearing the update. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook post had limited comments, but the concern for Johntae’s well-being was evident.
