Galax, Virginia – Karen Ann Dickerson, a 61-year-old resident of Galax, who had been missing since August 13, 2024, has been located safe by the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office. Dickerson was last seen driving a maroon 2003 Pontiac van with Virginia license plate XKR-7755.
The Galax Police Department issued a missing person alert shortly after she was reported missing, urging anyone with information to contact them. Concern grew as the days passed, with the community coming together in hopes of finding her.
