Kassity Albright Still Missing – Family and Community Desperately Seek Answers in Woodford County

Woodford County, IL – The search continues for Kassity Albright, who has been missing since August 18. Her family, friends, and the local community are rallying together, hoping to bring her home safely.

Kassity was last seen by law enforcement in Woodford County. According to reports, her boyfriend picked her up around 12:30 a.m. that night, making him the last person known to have seen her. The family’s search for Kassity has been hampered by conflicting stories and unverified rumors, adding to their distress.

Tara Albright, Kassity’s mother, took to Facebook to plead for the public’s help in finding her daughter. "We will keep sharing our daughter’s face and asking ANYONE and EVERYONE if they know anything," she wrote. Tara urged parents with children at EPCHS to talk to them, hoping they might have information that could lead to Kassity’s safe return.

The last time Kassity was seen, she had very dark hair and was wearing white Crocs, navy blue leggings, and an oversized white T-shirt. She is described as 5’5" tall and weighing 155 pounds.

The community has shown overwhelming support for the Albright family. Carrie Chavez commented, "I can’t imagine, Tara. Just shared the post and I’ll keep my eyes and ears open for her!" Jamie Lane added, "Shared. I’m so sorry you’re going through this! Will keep an eye out!" Kristi Calvert expressed her concern, saying, "Girl! I’m praying for you and your family…especially for Kassity’s safe and prompt return."

Others have also spread the word on social media, hoping someone will come forward with information. Kelli S Martin shared Kassity’s story on Porch Pantry Peoria, while Tina Jackman shared it in Pekin. Amanda Wolf-Tisdale, Victoria Love, and many others have echoed similar sentiments, praying for Kassity’s safety.
