Wainwright, Alberta – The community is mourning the loss of Keith Redgeway Kellogg, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who passed away peacefully on August 19, 2024, at the age of 86. Keith’s passing marks the end of a life filled with love, family, and friendship, leaving behind a legacy that will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
Keith was a devoted family man, surviving by his wife of 61 years, Virginia, his son Kevin and daughter-in-law Roxanne, and their three grandsons, Joel, Aaron, and Benjamin. Joel and his wife Kailyn also welcomed a daughter, Maela, who brought joy to Keith as his great-granddaughter. Keith’s daughter, Sheryl, also survives him, along with his sister-in-law Peggy Kellogg and brother-in-law Kirby Nanias, among many other family members and friends who deeply cherished him.
Keith’s life was not without loss. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Ellen Kellogg, his brother Wesley, and other close family members, including his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joe and Mary Nanias, and his sister-in-law Christine Winter.
A funeral service to honor Keith’s life will be held at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Wainwright on Monday, August 26, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Following the service, Keith will be laid to rest at the Wainwright Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has kindly requested that memorial contributions be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Keith’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him, and the time shared with him will always be treasured.
