Londonderry, New Hampshire – Lilliana Cawthron, a vibrant 17-year-old from Londonderry, tragically lost her life in a car accident on I-93 yesterday evening. The news has sent shockwaves through the Londonderry community, leaving family, friends, and schoolmates in deep mourning over the sudden loss of a young life full of promise.
Lilliana, affectionately known as "Lily," was a beloved student at Londonderry High School, where she was highly regarded for her infectious laughter, boundless energy, and caring nature. She was an active member of the school’s cross country and track and field teams, as well as a talented alto saxophonist in the marching band. Her enthusiasm for life and her ability to light up any room were hallmarks of her personality.
Beyond her athletic and musical talents, Lilliana was also a strong self-advocate and a dedicated worker, particularly in her role at The Learning Tree, where she worked with children. Her dedication to her studies was evident in her plans to graduate early from the Adult Education Program in January 2025.
Londonderry High School’s Alternative Education Programs shared a heartfelt tribute, stating, "Yesterday, our program and Lancer Nation lost the sweetest, spunkiest soul.
