Portland, Oregon — The victim of a fatal shooting that took place in Southeast Portland’s Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood on Monday night has been identified as 50-year-old Lorenzo U. Miranda. The Portland Police Department confirmed his identity on Thursday as part of an ongoing homicide investigation.

According to the medical examiner, Lorenzo U. Miranda died from gunshot wounds, and his death has been officially ruled a homicide. The incident has left the community in shock, as police continue their investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
