Miami Gardens, Florida – In a tragic incident on Sunday night, 20-year-old Mah’ki Eugene Cutler was fatally shot while driving in Miami Gardens. The incident occurred as Cutler and another male victim were leaving a party. Their vehicle was followed to the area of Northwest 183rd Street and 47th Avenue, where it was ambushed and fired upon by unknown assailants.
Cutler, the driver, succumbed to his injuries, while the passenger, who was initially in critical condition, has now been stabilized, according to authorities. Three toddlers were in the backseat of the car during the shooting, but miraculously, none were harmed.
The police have yet to release a description of the suspects but are actively searching for a dark-colored SUV believed to be involved in the shooting. Investigators suggest that this may have been a targeted attack, possibly gang-related.
Diana Delgado, a spokeswoman for the Miami Gardens police, stated, “The suspects involved are extremely dangerous, willing to shoot at any vehicle with people inside.”
The police are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the Miami Gardens Police Department or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for any information leading to an arrest.
On Facebook, the community has begun sharing their condolences and support for Cutler’s family. Wilson Louis commented, “Prayers for his family during this difficult time,” reflecting the shared grief and shock over this senseless act of violence.
