Dannevirke, New Zealand – Maree Nordlof, a beloved sister and cherished member of the community, passed away peacefully on Sunday, 25 August 2024, at the age of 63. She was surrounded by her sisters at Dannevirke Community Hospital at the time of her passing.
Maree was a much-loved daughter of the late Frank and Rosalie and a dear sister to Sheryl, Wendy, and Kay. She also held a special place in the hearts of her brothers-in-law, David, Rex, and Garth. Maree’s nurturing and loving spirit was deeply appreciated by her nieces and nephews, who adored her.
Family and friends wishing to pay their respects can visit Maree at her sister Sheryl’s home at 126 Umutaoroa Road, Dannevirke. A service celebrating Maree’s life is scheduled for Thursday, 29 August 2024, at 11 a.m. The service will be held at The Hub Dannevirke, with the entrance off Allardice Street. Following the service, Maree will be laid to rest at Mangatera Cemetery.
The news of Maree’s passing has brought an outpouring of support on social media. Judy Swenson commented, “Omg, remember you girls at the Weber Store.
