Columbus, Ohio – In a heartbreaking incident on Thursday afternoon, 18-year-old Marquan Payton from the Italian Village area was fatally shot near Dodge Park in Columbus’ Franklinton neighborhood. The tragic event unfolded on South Skidmore Street when Payton reportedly approached an SUV, and an occupant of the vehicle opened fire, leaving him critically injured.
