Michigan Woman Janice M. Mehney Killed in Tragic Two-Vehicle Crash Near Hayden, Alabama

Hayden, Alabama – A fatal accident on Thursday night claimed the life of 67-year-old Janice M. Mehney, a resident of Dewitt, Michigan. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) confirmed that Mehney died in a two-vehicle collision near Hayden, Alabama.

The crash occurred just before 8 p.m. on U.S. Highway 31, near White Oak Trail, roughly five miles west of Hayden. Janice Mehney was driving a 2011 Ford Fusion when her vehicle collided with a 2003 Ford F-250 driven by 50-year-old Lewis E. Soli II, a resident of Hayden.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after the collision. Unfortunately, Mehney was pronounced dead at the scene, highlighting the severity of the crash. The driver of the F-250, Lewis Soli II, was not reported to be injured.
