Missing Person Alert – Lancashire Police Urgently Seek Help in Finding Carl Joy, Last Seen in Morecambe

Lancashire, UK – The Lancashire Police have issued an urgent appeal for help in locating Carl Joy, who has gone missing from his home. Carl was last seen on Lord Street in Morecambe on Friday, 23rd August 2024, at approximately 1:00 p.m.

Carl Joy is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall, of stocky build, with short, shaven grey hair. He also has tattoos on both his right and left arms. Unfortunately, details about what Carl was last wearing are unknown at this time.

Carl has known connections to the Morecambe, Lancaster, and Yorkshire areas, and authorities are asking anyone who may have seen him or has information about his whereabouts to come forward.

Concern for Carl’s welfare is growing, and his family and friends are desperate to hear from him. The community has rallied to assist in the search, with numerous people sharing the police’s appeal on social media.

Els Rach posted on Facebook, urging Carl to get in touch with his family, while others like Shirley Townson and Noreen Ruth Schrank-Donely shared their hopes for his safe return. Andrea Louise mentioned seeing him in Ashton yesterday, raising hopes that Carl might be located soon.

Derek Robertson, Lyn Kimberling, and many others have also shared the police’s appeal across different regions, including Blackpool, Southport, Wigan, and beyond, to raise awareness and help bring Carl home safely.
