Neabsco Resident Nolan Bonaparte Passes Away, Community Rallies to Support His Daughter Zoie Bonaparte

Neabsco, Virginia – The community is mourning the loss of Nolan Bonaparte, a beloved resident of Neabsco, who passed away on August 22, 2024. As friends and family grapple with his sudden departure, efforts are being made to support his daughter, Zoie Bonaparte, through this challenging time.

Nolan was cherished by many, remembered as a dedicated father, a loyal friend, and a kind-hearted individual. His unexpected passing has left a significant void in the lives of those who knew him. In response, a GoFundMe campaign has been organized by Gina Cleveland to help Zoie with the funeral expenses and other final costs.

Gina Cleveland shared her thoughts on Facebook, expressing deep concern for Zoie, who is now faced with the responsibility of handling her father’s estate. She wrote, "Zoie is now part of our family, and we will take care of her as if she were our own because that is what Nolan would have wanted. Please donate if you can and share. It’s our turn to show up for Nolan as he did for so many of us!"

The GoFundMe campaign, launched yesterday, has raised $2,420 of its $20,000 goal, with contributions from 22 donors. The top donation of $500 came from Dr. Linda Rhein, followed by a recent donation of $50 from Jeremy Powers and the first donation of $25 from Kelly Kelso.

In addition to the fundraising efforts, several individuals have shared their condolences and support for Zoie on social media. Jennifer Thompson commented, "My condolences, Zoie Bonaparte. I’m so sorry, my heart really hurts for you. I pray that God gives you understanding and comfort."

Antonio Scott also shared his sentiments, reflecting on the spiritual aspect of loss. "He’s not gone, only transcended. I just lost my dad in the physical world this year. I know what you feel, but he’s really not gone because he’s living through you."

Mary Ann Nov added her prayers and suggested alternatives to the GoFundMe platform, stating, "My condolences and prayers. If you can have a cash app or zelle link… GoFundMe takes a chunk of what’s made."

The community’s outpouring of love and support highlights the profound impact Nolan had on those around him. The viewing is scheduled for September 4th, with the funeral planned for September 5th. More details will be provided as the arrangements are finalized.

Anyone wishing to contribute to the fundraiser or offer support in other ways, such as providing meals for Zoie or sending flowers for the funeral, is encouraged to reach out to Gina Cleveland directly. The community’s collective efforts aim to help ease the burden on Zoie during this difficult time, allowing her to focus on grieving the loss of her father.
