He enjoyed playing jazz and jazz fusion, which he performed in bands during his school years and later in life, even taking on the role of a drummer at his local church. His family recalls him as a man who found solace in music, the company of loved ones, and his faith.
His daughter, Portia Hunter, has organized a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for Norman’s memorial service. In a heartfelt message, she shared, “I am raising funds to help my father, Norman Robert Hunter III, bid his final farewell… Thank you from the bottom of my heart for whatever you have to give so that my father may have a beautiful and joyous send-off.”
