Ongoing Search for Kay Collins, Missing Since 1978 from Mountain Home, Arkansas, Spurs Renewed Efforts and Community Support

Mountain Home, Arkansas – Kay Ilene Collins has been missing since December 19, 1978, leaving behind a mystery that has spanned decades. Kay, who was 32 years old at the time, disappeared after being in the Pleasant Planes area with her baby, who was found safe. Despite extensive searches and investigations, no arrests have been made, and Kay has never been found. The Baxter County Sheriff Office continues to seek information regarding her case.

Kay’s family, now including her grown children who have been longing for answers, remains hopeful that the truth will eventually come to light. The Morgan Nick Foundation has been actively involved in spreading awareness about her case, emphasizing the importance of finding answers not only for Kay’s family but also for other families with missing loved ones.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, the foundation urged the online community to assist in uncovering the truth. "We know the truth is out there, and we know our online army could very well be the ones to unearth the truth about what happened to Kay! Her now-grown children desperately need your help," the post read, accompanied by the hashtag #MissingAdultsMatter.

The post has garnered support from numerous individuals who shared their thoughts and prayers. Carla LeGros offered, "Sharing comfort and healing," while Kristy Cooper Anderson expressed, "Praying answers are found." Beverly Buckie-Tharp simply wrote, "Prayers," reflecting the sentiments of many who continue to hope for a resolution in Kay’s case. Beverley Collins also shared her gratitude, saying, "Thank you so much for everything you’ve done. This matters."

The Morgan Nick Foundation, along with Kay’s family and supporters, remains committed to finding the truth and bringing Kay home.
