Philadelphia Community Mourns the Loss of Mark Couvertier as Fundraiser Launched for His Proper Send-Off

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania – The community is coming together to support the family of Mark Daniel Couvertier, who passed away on August 18th, 2024. A fundraiser has been launched by his daughter, Juawana Hinson, to give him a proper send-off. The family is seeking to raise $5,000 to cover the funeral expenses, as Mark had no life insurance.

Mark Couvertier leaves behind a sister, a daughter, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Despite the grief of losing him, the family is determined to ensure he receives a fitting farewell. Juawana expressed her gratitude for any contributions, emphasizing that every donation, big or small, is deeply appreciated.

On social media, many shared their thoughts and condolences. Camile Latibeaudiere, reflecting on their last moments together, wrote, “He knew I was about to say goodbye, he said have dinner with me one last time… My former husband Mark Daniel Couvertier fought a good fight, we would always say he has nine lives, now he has taken his rest.”

Other friends and family members also shared their sympathies. Patricia Whynn commented, “Sending love to you my friend,” while Marlet Tyndale added, “Sending my sincere sympathies Sis. You’re a remarkable person. I admire you.”

Expressions of faith and hope were also prominent. Cheechee Moore mentioned, “The resurrection hope is real. We look forward to seeing our loved ones again.” Similarly, Yulanda Taylor shared, “Keep hope alive. Jehovah longs for the works of His hands. The resurrection is well on the way. As the fundraiser continues, the community is rallying to ensure Mark Couvertier receives the dignified farewell he deserves.
