Linden, New Jersey – Pinchus Mordechai Wieder, a 34-year-old resident, has been reported missing after last being seen at a synagogue on the evening of August 23, 2024. Wieder was dressed in traditional Shabbat clothing, including a black robe, black socks, loafers, and a fur hat, and was wearing glasses at the time of his disappearance.

Local residents and friends of Wieder have taken to social media to express their concerns and prayers for his safe return. Judy Schadt shared a heartfelt post saying, "Prayers," reflecting the community’s support and hope during this distressing time. Derek Armstead, the Mayor of Linden, has also joined in the efforts to locate Wieder, using his social media platform to spread awareness of the missing person’s case.
