Placer County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public’s Help to Locate Missing Fredrick Jordan in North Auburn

North Auburn, California – The Placer County Sheriff’s Office is urgently seeking the public’s assistance in locating Fredrick Jordan, a 49-year-old man who went missing from a care home on Lilac Lane in North Auburn. Fredrick, who was last seen on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 11:30 a.m., walked away from his care facility and has not been found since.

Fredrick Jordan is described as approximately 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighing around 195 pounds. He has brown eyes, short brown hair, and a tattoo on his left leg. At the time of his disappearance, Fredrick was wearing a complete San Francisco 49ers outfit, including a red shirt, red shorts, and a matching red hat.

The Sheriff’s Office has urged anyone with information on Fredrick’s whereabouts to contact them immediately at (530) 886-5375. His family and friends, along with local authorities, are deeply concerned for his safety, especially considering his vulnerable state.

On Facebook, the community has come together to share their concerns and prayers for Fredrick’s safe return. Linda Young posted, "May Almighty God keep him safe and bring him home." Another community member, Charlene Charlie K Bothmann, expressed hope, saying, "So hope he is found safe and alive." Many others, including Kathi Bonney and Vickie Wilkerson, sent prayers for Fredrick’s safety.

Monica Sassarini shared her thoughts on potential search areas, stating, "I would look in these tree areas at the end of Lilac Lane behind the Honda Dealer." Joanne Thornton highlighted the challenges of securing care facilities, especially for individuals with dementia, reflecting on her personal experience.

As the search continues, the community remains united in their hopes for Fredrick’s safe return.
