Greenville, New Hampshire – Raymond Russell, a 56-year-old resident of Hudson, NH, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident in Greenville on Saturday afternoon, August 24, 2024. The accident occurred at approximately 12:26 p.m. at the intersection of Fitchburg Road (Route 31) and Wilton Road.
According to reports from the Greenville Police Department and the New Hampshire State Police, Russell was riding his 2012 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on Fitchburg Road when a 2013 Subaru Legacy, driven by 23-year-old Cole Gibson of New Ipswich, NH, made a left turn from Old Wilton Road onto Fitchburg Road. The motorcycle collided with the driver’s side of the Subaru, resulting in fatal injuries for Russell.
A passenger on the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Cole Gibson was treated at a local hospital and later released.
The tragic incident has prompted an outpouring of condolences and prayers on social media. Many have expressed their grief and sorrow over the loss of Raymond Russell.
